YouTube videos can now be added to your website using the Claymore Project. They can be added to any area of text that can be edited with the Rich Text editor in Claymore.
To add a YouTube video place the cusor on a new line and press the Insert/Edit YouTube Video button on the tool bar.
In the dialogue box simply enter the URL of the video you wish to add to your website which you can find in the URL bar of your browser when you watch the video in YouTube.
The system takes care of the technical part and you will see a placeholder image that shows where your video will play when someone views this page of your website. For technical reasons the video will not play in the Rich Text editor while you are editing your website.

Contact Form Messages Module
Occassionally Clients tell us they think they are may not have received some messages sent via the Contact Form on their website. There are a number of issues that could cause this ranging from an over zealous anti-spam filter to accidental deletion by a member of staff.
Taking this on board we have developed a new module for The Claymore Project Content Management System which stores a copy of contact messages in the database and accessing them is as simple as logging into the system and navigating to Contact Form Messages. You will still receive an email alert of the new message but if it should not reach you the message is safely held in The Claymore Project.
The Message module provides additional benefit through it's email address listing feature. Periodically as part of your email marketing strategy you should export all the customer names and email addresses collected through the message system and import them to your email marketing software. The task of selecting only those who have opted to receive marketing email is easy thanks to the built in export feature which automatically selects only the relevant customers for you.
The Contact Form Message module is available for a one off installation fee of £145.

IPR Statement Updated
Claymore Project users should note that the Intellectual Property Rights compliance statement has been updated to cover third party channel content distributors.
Green Fees Information for Golf Clubs
As part of ongoing enhancements to The Claymore Project we have added a new Green Fees section for Golf Clubs which ensures it is clear what each field should be used for. Previously Green Fees information was stored in the Facilities field but now Clubs can ensure the Facilities field gives details about cart hire and catering etc. while the Green Fees field provides pricing information.
The first website to take advantage of this will be the Scotland's West Coast Golf Links project and it will also form a Core part of our forthcoming Sitebuilder Lite for Golf Clubs product.
Already in the pipeline for future development is a full Green Fees Module which will allow Clubs to easily add their information in a uniform format which is important as the details can be published on several websites at any one time including Scotland's For Me and any other destination or channel marketing websites that feature your Club.

Access to the Global Meta Tags has been moved to the Administration Area as part of a usability update to the system. All items in the Administration Area will become compulsory in the near future to ensure uniform coverage of all businesses via third party channel websites.
